Why do so many more people are afraid of riding in an airplane than driving in your car? Risk of injury to the car is far greater than they were injured in an airplane. I can offer this theory: it is because plane crashes are so rare, and auto crashes are so common. This May sound a little strange, such as logic, but it is really easy. Does each accident as reported on the news? Of course not! There are too many of them. It's the same when the dog bites man. Some dogs may include people - but most of us have them in their stride. Do not get me wrong - most dogs are great, but only few of them can turn and bite with little provocation. It does not happen often, but it sure beats the plane falls in league statistics.

OK, so if you catch rabies, dog bites are nowhere near as serious as auto crashes.Pokolj and misery of car crashes is so common it is rarely reported. However, few aircraft incidents, even minor one, may be heading.

Some of the biggest killers in our world, such as cigarettes, cars, AIDS and cancer continue to cause mass misery, almost unnoticed, except for those directly affected.

Just take this litmus test: how many people know who were involved in an airplane crash, or even a near miss? Now think how many people know that they were involved in traffic accidents. Come to think of it, how many people know who won the lottery jackpot? And that's the thing. Your probability of failure in an aircraft accident or a closer look to win a big jackpot.

Elimination of this risk requires some simple precautions, such as personal hygiene and seal open food when not in use. Oh, and what could be simpler and more obvious than buying a machine fly killer?

I know that the food infection, fly killer machines, and the rest will not be front page news, but I would be happy to walk down any street at night or driving in any aircraft, rather than risk being poisoned by fly infested food.
